As many of you are aware, striderjohn, the companion to this tumblr and the reason I created it in the first place is no longer going to be used. The player is not interested in tumblr roleplaying but is leaving the journal up as far as I know.

On my personal tumblr I mused whether or not I would continue to roleplay as Dave Egbert, and I have now decided I will. I also decided I would not retcon or remove John from his life, even if he isn’t here to roleplay with. I’m not sure how well this will go, but hopefully people who Dave hasn’t interacted with as much will finally get some more attention. If this doesn’t work out, don’t fret! I have plans for davebertoftime, a version of himself from the future post sburb. Would any of you be interested in that?

He actually doesn’t even watch anime, he’s like a reddit guy. He knows OF anime and Japanese culture. But yes, still that. It’s so mainstream it’s funny, but too mainstream to actually waste his time with. Hipster.))
